Davis Cup Semifinals. Day Three: Andy Murray brings Great Britain to the final!

Hello hello,

today we saw Andy Murray bringing the Team Great Britain to the Davis Cup final after many, many years!
Infact, Great Britain are in their first final since 1978.

The Scottish champion won over Tomic in three sets (7-5, 6-2, 6-2).

Andy said: “It’s been a very tough weekend for me physically and mentally, there’s a lot of emotions out there, yesterday’s match was very tough one and turned out to be crucial. I’m very proud to be through to the final. It would be an incredible achievement (to win the Davis Cup), but whoever we play it would be a tough match.”

Kim was courtside cheering proudly, she wore her Whistles Romy shirt in light blue.

The brand has reissued the shirt in white for the new season, it retails for £95 and, as of writing, is available in all sizes.

Another nice and playful option, also by Whistles, is the Olivia Spot shirt, retailing for £110.

The Davis Cup final will be from 27 to 29 November, hope to see a glimpse of Kim before that date!

Davis Cup Semifinals. Day One and Day Two.

Hello,

hope you're having a nice weekend, are you enjoying the matches between Team GB and Australia as much as we are?

Kim and Andy are currently at Glasgow, where the Scottish champion is playing for the Great Britain.

Yesterday, Andy Murray defeated Thanasi Kokkinakis in a straight match (6-3, 6-0, 6-3), while today the Murray brothers are currently facing doubles against Hewitt and Groth put Great Britain on the brink of the final! They won 4-6, 6-3,6-4, 6-7 (6-8), 6-4 in what has been an epic match.
Happy day for Scotland.

Kim yesterday wore an oversized red jumper over a white shirt and black leggins.

We don't know the label of the jumper, but it's an look everyone could easily copy.
John Lewis usually has some good cashmere, like this one by Gerard Darel:
Today, as we can see from the few images we got until now, Kim choose a Zara check shirt in Ecru and Navy.

The shirt is 100% cotton and looks perfect to conceal her 4 months baby bump :)
As of writing it's still available in all sizes on Zara website, it retails for £25,99.

We still have one match to go: tomorrow Andy will face Tomic at 1 PM.

BACK THE BRITS!

Kim and Andy’s dog Maggie May to be a published author and a check shirt from Zara

Hello,

we are here a for a brief news regarding Kim…Well, actually is about her Border Terrier Maggie Mayhem.

The Telegraph broke the news that she (yes, the dog) will be writing a book coming out next year.

‘How to Look After Your Human: A Dog’s Guide’ will be a children’s book, written with the assistance of Kim.
It’s said it will explore how dogs can bond with humans and will be published by Frances Lincoln in June 2016.

Maggie wearing Andy's OBE

We all know the witty irony Kim is capable of, having read Maggie May’s tweets on her Twitter account, which now counts 28,000 followers.

The publisher announces: “Maggie Mayhem has trained some of the world’s most stubborn humans - namely her housemate Kim Sears - and so there is no better canine to explain the complexities of human behaviour and guide us through the ownership journey.”
Most importantly, Maggie May’s book fee will be donated to an animal welfare charity.

Kim studied English Literature at Sussex University before choosing to become a pet portrait artist and has always been open about her desire to write a novel.

Kim and Andy also have another Border Terrier, Rusty.

Maggie and Rusty :)

Now let’s move on to fashion…

We found a very nice replicate of the check black and white shirt Kim wore to US Open: it’s a Zara check shirt. The shirt, in black and white and with a delicate silver stud motif on the pocket, is pretty different by Kim’s one, but can work anyway to achieve the look, it retails for £25.99

See you this week-end, when the Murray brothers along with the British Team will be facing Australia in Davis Cup's semi-final!

US Open round 4: Kim in stripes and new shades

Hello hello,

sad news: Andy Murray didn't make to the Quarters of Us Open, suffering his earliest Grand Slam exit for five years, against South African Kevin Anderson.

Mrs Murray was sporting a new and very nice pair of shades yesterday.
I'm pretty sure they are the new Taylor Morris Invidia
Kim's ones are probably a bespoke item, as I couldn't find the same colour on the brand website.

She was also wearing a top we saw several times before: the Asos crochet striped t-shirt, now almost sold out in all sizes.

We already talked about the t-shirt in July (previous post). She paired it with her J Crew fluted yellow skirt.

Asos has now issued a new version of the top, with the crochet detail on the neck, it is very pretty.
As of writing, is available in all sizes and retails for £18.

For now it's all, I'm afraid we won't see Kim until the Davis Cup Semifinals, but who knows...

US Open round 2 and 3: Kim supports Andy wearing stripes and checks

Hello everyone,

we had the chance to see Kim two times this week-end.

On Thursday, during the Second round of US Open, Andy Murray battled against Adrien Mannarino to get to the Third Round.
It has been a tough match of five sets, with Andy losing the first two sets and working hard to rise 'til victory (5-7, 4-6, 6-1, 6-3, 6-1).

Kim wore a very nice striped trapezium top.
The brand of the t-shirt is unknown at the moment, but we are working on it!
She paired it with her white chino shorts; we saw her wearing the shorts last year during the Australian Open.
On her arm the bag she chose for this Grand Slam tournament: the Mulberry Bayswater in Croc Oak.

Yesterday night Andy won a flawless match against brazilian Thomas Bellucci, going straight to Round Four (6-3, 6-2, 7-5).

Kim, cheering her husband courtside, was wearing an oversized lumberjack black and white shirt over black skinny jeans.
We couldn't find the exact match, it looks like a Zara design, maybe from past collections.

There is a nice replicate on Forever21 website: The Buffalo Plaid Flannel Shirt. It retails for £15 and is quite similar, with flap chest pockets.

See you on Tuesday for new updates!

US OPEN 2015, First Round: Kim shines watching Murray vs Kyrgios

Finally US Open started, with its carousel of emotions and matches!

Andy Murray defeated Nick Kyrgios in four sets (7-5, 6-3, 4-6, 6-1), reaching the second round, where he will be facing frenchman Mannarino.

Not only we managed to get a glimpse ok Kim's looks, but Andy Murray gave a very nice interview about himself and how his wife is supportive of him.

First of all, let's talk about what Kim was wearing.

She sported a Whistles light blue oversized shirt over black skinny jeans, the perfect look to conceal her baby bump.

The Romy Large Pocket Shirt in light blue is unfortunately sold out, but you can have the same style in white: it retails for £85.
As of writing, it's available in all sizes, the shirt is 100% linen and has a translucent look, it's both casual and classic.

I'm pretty confident the skinny pants could be the Rag&Bone Jodhpur Leggins with leather insert in midnight.

The pants are last year collection and currently sold out on most retailer's websites. The only one has them is this one, selling them for $238.

On her arm, a bag we saw often in the past years: her Mulberry Bayswater.

The Oak Croc embossed tote is a classic of the british brand.
It's available on Mulberry website in different colours and sizes.
If you want the exact one Kim has, it's from a past collection and you can find it second-hand on ebay or here, saving some money.

Now, last but not least, you can read the interview Andy gave to The New York Times here

During the conversation, the Scottish champion opened about the marriage to Kim, the impact it is having on his tennis and their life under the spotlight.
Talking about her personality he lovingly stated:
"She has a very good sense of humor. She’s very protective, very loyal. She has a bit of a temper on her as well, too. (Laughs.) Yeah, she has a very good sense of humor, and she’s extremely protective and loyal to me, that’s for sure."
