A Backhand in the Past: Kim and Andy's wedding, April 2015

Since we all miss a glimpse of Kim these days, I thought you might enjoy a little step in the past...Let's talk about Mr and Mrs Murray wedding!

After their engagement announced in November, Andy Murray and Kim Sears got married at Dunblane Cathedral, in the tennis star's hometown, on 11th of April, 2015 at 5 PM.

The bride wore a sparkling Jenny Packham bespoke dress with stunning embellished sleeves.
Her legendary mane swept back from the face in a half-up half-down hairdo, her locks were pinned with a long white veil and she sported a beautiful Jenny Packham headdress.
On her feet a pair of Jimmy Choo strappy silver sandals.

Andy was dressed traditionally in his Murray of Elibank clan green, blue and yellow kilt.
The night before the wedding, the groom twitted a very funny prevision of the big day, including some weathercasting, which proved to be true (He didn't think about the snow but let's admit that was quite impredictable)!

The Cathedral was breathtaking, adorned with tons of white Hydrangeas, tealights and actual trees (an idea copied by a very famous Royal Wedding occurred in 2011, I guess).

The couple was seen the day before the wedding for a reharsal at the Dunblane Cathedral.

Kim wore a Richards Radcliffe Oxshott leather jacket, black skinny jeans, French Sole red ballet flats and a Beulah London blue Shibani scarf.

The French Sole (literally) adorable flats are available in very limited sizing and cost 180£ on the brand website.
They are described as red suede, with a glitter red heart and a "J'Adore" motif.

The leather jacket retails for 600£, it's a classic wardrobe staple. As of writing, it's available in all sizes.

The Beulah Shibani Heart scarf, has been reissued this week.
A Beulah classic piece, it's a silk and wool mix. It has been launched in various colors and retails for 95£.

Kim owns two versions: the light blue in the reharsal picture and the one available at the moment, an indigo colour.

On her shoulder was a classic Longchamp Le Pliage in black nylon large tote bag. The bag retails for 68£.

Kim recycles as Great Britain team flies to the Davis Cup semi-finals

Kim Murray was back on court yesterday, screaming encouragement to the Murray brothers as they battle it out in the men's double against France Tsonga and Nicolas Mahut.
The Scottish pair won 4-6, 6-3, 7-6, 6-1.

Kim wore a very british floral print tea dress, she already sported last year at Chelsea Flower Show. The designer is unknown, could be easily a vintage piece, or an Asos purchase.

She wore her trusty Topshop Ghillie sandals, which are now back in stock in tan colour.

Most importantly, we have a new bag alert: the artist was seen with a Milli Millu Berlin Bag.

The Berlin bag is described as "Cross body, over the shoulder or worn as a clutch thanks to its removable cross-body strap, The Berlin transitions seamlessly from day to night. Equipped with two separate compartments, its compact look hides a spacious interior. The Berlin truly epitomises city chic with an edge."
Kim's version, in fuchsia calf hair, burgundy and off-white smooth claf leather is currently unavailable, but there are several color combinations on the brand website.

Kim is a fan of the brand, she also owns The Stockholm style

Today Andy Murray brought Great Britain to the semi-finals of the Davis Cup, and we saw a very proud Kim at London's Queen's tennis club, while she clutched a Union flag.
Murray won against Gilles Simon. Great Britain enters the semi-final after 34 years. Glorious day for the Murray clan.

Kim was dressed in a white t-shirt, encrusted with blue gems, thant she already wore at Queen's in early June, and her yellow J Crew skirt.
The Fluted skirt in double-crepe is unfortunately sold out, but Asos has a very similar one for only 12£.

She wore again Topshop's Ghillie lace-up sandals, in tan, and the beautiful Aspinal Marylebone tote was on her arm.

I hope we will see Kim again very soon and we won't have to wait until the US Open in September.

Kim does the tennis whites at Davis Cup

Kim never disapponts.
For cheering husband Andy, who was battling against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the second men's single at Queen's Club this afternoon, the artist appropriately wore a superb tennis white. She sported a Whistle white peplum blouse.

The Wrap Over Frill Top is unfortunately sold out, but I have found a nice replicate at Gap
As of writing, the Gap Peplum top is on sale for 32.99€.
It surely doesn't have the dynamic ruffle layers of the Whistle one, but it's cute enough.

She looked amazing in skinny denim jeans and costumized Taylor Morris Saratoga shades, smiling while Andy won in a beautiful match, defeating Tsonga in three sets, 6-5, 7-6(12-10), 6-2.

We have seen Kim wearing the Taylor Morris shades last year at Roland Garros, but they were a black and white tortoise colour.

These are currently available on the brand website for £130.

That's all for today, see you on Saturday and Sunday, when Andy will play again, probably both the doubles and the men's single.

Kim's stylish return to Wimbledon...

Kim returned to Wimbledon Center Court with husband Andy Murray only 24 hours after his defeat to cheer for her brother-in-law Jamie Murray, who was battling through the men's double final.
Jamie, 29, and his Australian partner John Peers were beaten 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 by Jean-Julien Roger and Horia Tecau.

Kim wore a striped T-shirt with a crochet trim around the sleeves and the hem, pairing it with a bright blue skirt.
As always, she carried with her the Levi's demin jacket and the Aspinal of London Marylebone Tote in Navy Raindrop.

As of writing, the T-shirt is available on Asos in very limited sizing. It's a lovely twist on the classic breton top.

If you want to copy her, this very same  T-shirt is still available on Aliexpress in all sizes, at the very affordable price of 12 $.

If you are more keen on a classic navy striped version, this Dorothy Perkins T-shirt is almost a doppleganger.

Kim is a fan of this crocheted T-shirt: she wore the same style, but in black, at Roland Garros in early June.

See you on the 17th for the Davis Cup Britain-France match!

Wimbledon 2015. A RECAP. Part 2

Murray vs Ivo Karlovic

While cheering for her man, who progressed to the Wimbledon quarter-finals against the Croatian, Kim stunned us in a Beulah London red and white flowery shirt dress.
The dress style, named Aurelia, is currently sold out, but the brand still has some designs in the same "Red Roses" pattern, such as the famous Sabitri, chosen by The Duchess of Cambridge for attending a wedding a couple of years ago.
She put her Burberry Suede Platform Wedge sandals and dressed the look down with her beloved denim jacket.
As usual, the Aspinal tote was with her. Classic Kim.

Beulah London Aurelia dress (was £420, now sold out)

 Burberry Suede Platform Wedge Sandal

Aspinal Marylebone Tech Navy Raindrop Tote (currently sold out)

 Murray vs Pospisil

Watching Andy brilliantly winning the Wimbledon quarter-finals in straight sets (6-4, 7-5, 6-4) against Canadian player Pospisil, Kim wore a tailored and elegant navy jacket by the brand The Fold, the Le Marais tuxedo Jacket.
She paired it with a simple white shirt and some jeans. She wore the Topshop gladiator sandals she sported a few days before.

The Fold Le Marais tuxedo jacket in Navy (245 £)

Topshop Nugget Ghillie Bronze Heel sandals (sold out in Tan, available in Black for 55£)

Murray vs Federer

Cheering her husband who was battling for the Wimbledon final, Kim opted again for a beautiful floral print, this time she looked very summery in a white, grey and black motif. Unfortunately Andy didn't win, losing 5-7, 5-7, 4-6 against an excellent Roger Federer.
We don't know the dress label, but I hope we will ID it very soon, as it's beautiful!
Meanwhile, Asos offers a similar print and style.
